It started with something remarkably small and, in the long run, really not all that notable. The Sheriff came in one day, like he often did. Ripley gave him his coffee (untouched by flavored sweeteners, fancy creams, or anything else that could be considered undesirable) like he occasionally did. They had their usual Sardonic and Sarcastic banter. And then Ripley called him Graham.
Ripley never called the Sheriff Graham. It was not a big deal, it was not even all that consequential. It was just a thing. And that was how it started. Or at least that is how it started for Ripley.
He started finding more reasons to invite Graham over. Wolf was lonely. Wolf was acting sick. His neighbor was a psychopath. Any reason really. Most recently, invited him over for beer. And then he remembered he had no beer at all. Graham was actually there before him.
Now he was at least partially drunk. He knew he had to be, because he was sprawled on the floor, Wolf was asleep, and Graham was... well he was definitely in Ripley's field of view. Did he pass out again? Why was Graham still there? Usually he let himself out when Ripley passed out.
"Graaham." He sat up with a crooked grin on his face.
"You're still here?"

Crude or not, the friction and the hot press of Graham's body against his were so good, Ripley could care less if they looked like a pair of animals, rutting against each other like this.
That growl shot straight through Ripley, a moan muffled against the lips on his own. That and the change in the angle of Graham's movements and Ripley completely lost it, his body rocking up against Graham's still as his world went blank of everything but how good it felt, his cock twitching between their bodies as he came.

Now there was something he'd never thought he'd find hot.
He sunk back down on top of Ripley, not minding that he was getting sticky as hell but mildly concerned that he'd be too heavy, seeing as how afterglow was now reducing him to a boneless pile of flesh.

"Damn... Graham."
He gave a breathless laugh and breathed in deep, brushing his nose against Graham.

But really, did they just...?

Date: 2012-10-14 11:56 pm (UTC)Ripley was still grinning when his eyes slid closed, his body limp and relaxed against the floor. He scrunched his nose slightly when Graham moved away and the mess they had made started to cool against his skin, the room feeling cold now that the flush of blood and warmth of Graham's body were gone.
"Although I am not certain I would claim you sounded stupid to ask. It was not really an expected part of the evening." Just like Graham staying after he passed out had not been, and his grin softened into a pleased, content smile.
"A very enjoyable one, regardless."

Way to sound like a hichschooler there, Graham.

Date: 2012-10-15 12:14 am (UTC)It was one part admittance and one part explanation, but either way it had his skin just a bit warm again. Sure he had entertained more than a few... less than innocent thoughts recently about the Sheriff, but he had never put serious consideration into them.
"I did not think you would have any interest in doing these types of things with another man." And now who was feeling more than a little foolish? Two guesses who. Both attempts might be right.

Date: 2012-10-17 09:35 pm (UTC)"I didn't think so either."
He laughed, turning his head to look at Ripley.
"Guess I was wrong there, huh?"

Date: 2012-10-17 09:52 pm (UTC)Another lazy smile and he's reaching for his shirt, dragging it over to wipe his chest off with a slight grimace. Yeah he should have gone for a towel, but again. It was Ripley. He shifted onto his side and wiped Graham's abdomen off as well before balling the shirt up and tossing it into the corner.
"I think it might be a good idea for us to shower, soon." He sounded amused, eyes darting over the mess of sweaty skin they had both become.

Date: 2012-10-17 11:01 pm (UTC)"I think you might be right."
He raised his eyebrows questioningly, a hint of teasing sneaking into his tone.
"Together?"

Date: 2012-10-18 02:04 am (UTC)Ripley slowly sat up on his knees and smiled brightly at the other man, watching him. Maybe it was a bit awkward, the way his eyes were lingering. But he was really finding it hard to tear his eyes away.
"The shower is large enough."

Date: 2012-10-18 02:06 am (UTC)And maybe the thought of seeing water cascade all over Ripley's body wasn't an entirely unpleasant idea.
Yeah, it was a little awkward, but if this turned out to be a one time deal he was going to milk it for all it was worth.

Date: 2012-10-18 02:20 am (UTC)"That would be a true tragedy. We can not have that."

Date: 2012-10-18 12:57 pm (UTC)"Though maybe whoever they hired to replace you in the cafe would bring me real coffee."

Date: 2012-10-18 01:25 pm (UTC)Two friends who happened to get a little too drunk. They would probably never talk about this night again once it was over. That was unfortunate.
He grinned a bit more and turned the shower on, letting the water warm off as he shoved his thoughts aside.
"Now I really can't have that. How will you ever find your true coffee love if you never get the opportunity to try new things?"
He flashed another grin and slipped into the shower, a low, pleased hum in his throat as the water hit him. It really felt good. Showers were highly underrated.

Date: 2012-10-18 02:37 pm (UTC)Graham stepped into the shower as well, though getting properly under the water would mean pressing up against Ripley and suddenly he wasn't sure if that would be all right.
What was the etiquette for showering together after slightly drunken and very unexpected sex?
"It's hot, black and strong."

Date: 2012-10-18 02:50 pm (UTC)"You only think it is because you do not know any better."
A playful grin as he tried not to focus too hard on how good Graham looked with the water running over him.
"I don't actually bite, you know."

Date: 2012-10-18 03:13 pm (UTC)Graham grinned (one might be inclined to describe it as 'wolfish', even), putting his hands on Ripley's hips as he was pulled closer. That hint of mischief sparked something in him as well, and he leaned in closer still so he could speak right into Ripley's ear.
"I do."

Date: 2012-10-18 04:16 pm (UTC)Ripley had been consistently drawn to him even when they were just friends. Now he was drawn to him in far more complicated ways.
He grinned back anyway, reaching over Graham to grab the soap.
"Is that so?" And it was said with that drawling old English tone he mostly only got when he was half awake.
no subject
Date: 2012-10-20 11:44 pm (UTC)He grabbed hold of Ripley's wrist so that he could pry the soap out of his hand, slowly beginning to slide it over the other man's skin.
"I'm a beast."
no subject
Date: 2012-10-21 12:02 am (UTC)Graham was a beast when it came to sex. If what they had just done was anything near an indication it was in very good ways. And it startled Ripley that he was thinking about that already. That he was wishing this would happen again, and possibly more.
This was possibly more awkward then rubbing off on Graham. Getting an awkward boner in the shower because Graham was washing him with the soap and - Yeah. He was thinking about Graham biting him, again.
"Aah. Yeah, I can imagine." Shit did he say that out loud, because he was imagining it. Why was he imagining it?
no subject
Date: 2012-10-21 03:02 am (UTC)"Are you? Imagining I mean."
He just kept sliding his hands over soap-slicked skin, even as his mind was screaming at him.
Why did you say that? What are you doing?
He didn't know, and now he couldn't even blame being drunk because he'd pretty much sobered up at this point.
no subject
Date: 2012-10-21 04:41 am (UTC)So he fumbled for words as he ran out of ideas and rubbed some of the soap up over his own shoulders. No point in denying it when he was fairly certain Graham had already noticed.
"I may just be doing so." Ripley knew he did not have the excuse of alcohol. He really could not have from long after the start of all this.
no subject
Date: 2012-10-21 05:11 am (UTC)He wanted more.
He somewhat reluctantly took his hands off Ripley to start soaping himself up, smiling broadly.
"Liking it?"
Not really a question he needed an answer to, but he wanted to hear Rip say it.
no subject
Date: 2012-10-29 09:01 am (UTC)He tried to play off his tension with a grin and a short laugh, letting the water wash away the soap and trying to make his imagination swing down a different path. Hopefully one that would get rid of the problem his current mental path was creating.
He was not some hormonal teenager, damn it. Graham was just having a peculiarly strong effect on him that he just couldn't shake. It was not like he'd spent a lot of time fantasizing about the Sheriff before this. A couple of awkward dreams he quickly made sure to forget in the morning, yes, but he had just assumed those were due to Graham being the one around him the most here in Storybrooke. Not to mention he'd never stopped himself from thinking the Sheriff was a good looking guy.
And there he was going back down the wrong path again with a low curse beneath his breath.
